Back Boating or Poor Etiquette?
If you divide the boat in half, say from the center of the boat forward and were able to draw a semi-circle from one side to the other then all that area is the front boaters, and the same would be for the back. I thinks that's how the pro's do it? I just needed to see what the forum thought, Its water under the bridge to me and my fishing partner. If you take all those goodies with you can I fish with you sometime. ;D

Back Boating or Poor Etiquette?
So I guess what your saying Bassnajr, is that if your partner is considerate in others ways, that his fishing indiscretions should be over looked and chalked up to a learning experience. So one out weigh's the other.

Back Boating or Poor Etiquette?
No, It is a best friend and fishing partner whom I would have expected to ask prior to casting. I was working the back from left to right and knew that the tree was down in the middle. Ya, could miss it. I guess I was more disappointed that he didn't ask first.

Back Boating or Poor Etiquette?
Would it also be considered Back Boating if the front angler leaves the front of the boat to fish a spot that is in the rear of the boat , prior to the co-angler who was fishing from the back, even getting a chance to fish it? Not to mention the front angler pulling one out from that spot. Is it poor etiquette?

Gas prices
Good thing we don't have big lakes up here >. The state managed ones are 10hp or under. Gas is $3.85 gal. It hurts towing the boat with my F250 super duty. Not to mention home heating oil is $4.45 gal try filling a 500 gal tank, no can do for me. :'( But I still go fishing.

What stage are we in RI
Went out today with bassinajr up in Johnston. I missed three on a swim jig. One I could see was swimming with the trailer in it's mouth when I attempted to set the hook it came right out. They just seem not to be hitting very hard. Nothing on the beds but in the the early pads. One came out from under a dock, but was a soft hit. Bassajr got a nice one in the pads. So where are we with the weather and all in the spawn? beds are visible but no ones home.

Summertime Fishing
[RE:I don'senkos for my wacky rigs, I use zoom trick worms. They last alot longer without tearing, I think one day I counted catching 26 fish on one worm. The trick is to move the hook around in the bait so it doesn't rip chunks out of the worm. I use a 1-1/0 gamagatsu octopus style hook, they have alot better hookset ratio and they fall a tad bit slower, I've also been known to use dropshot hooks as well.] 26 fish in one day on one worm......ummm. I undersand the concept of moving the hook around but it causes more rips in the worm. Good sale pitch, you should have ZOOM sponsor you. ;D
