These look like something I would like to use. I am not at all a finesse fisherman (as fishizzle can attest to). I need something spinning on the end of my line or I feel like I am just dragging something through the water.

Get out of here. That is the coolest! I am going to have to find a goldfish lure and a thick wire leader when I get the fever for Pickerel fishing. I need to catch a 2lb'er on a Mepps for my next badge.

Thank you to fishizzle for taking me to Amston to fish. We had to un-sink his boat first, good thing we were able to do it. I was such a putz - pretty much just jerked them into the boat. I can't believe those bass didn't laugh themselves off the hook at me being such a rookie. 3 bass in 2008 - 2 of them eclipsing my previous largest bass of 3lbs 4oz - it already is a good year of fishing.

I live in beautiful and scenic East Hartford. I fish for whatever fishizzle is fishing for - I am pretty much his shadow when he lets me. I have a love/hate relationship with the Hockanum River - it is so close - but there is like 1 largemouth in it and he is sick of me catching him.

Well you know I am down for a Breakneck Pond trip. I think we should get a whole bunch of folks there and see what we can see. We will find out if it is worth schlepping my kayak 1.5 miles through the woods.

Let's see if they can live in the Hockanum River in old East Hartford!
