  1. I agree with what every one has said. It took me two years of fishing only plastics to learn them and Im still learning the main thing is just take your plastics with you and thats it fish only them it forces you to learn them and not reach for your confidence baits when they dont produce fish for you and always fish them slow that was my hardest thing to learn because I was a run and gun fisherman. good luck
  2. yea i live in beloit wi fish alot on the rock river lake delvan and in northern Ill just started bass fishing two years ago I was a big walleye guy and musky guy but just love fishing for bass just wish I could get the bigger ones.

  5. Texas rig or the floating rig same as the texas rig minius the weight. Iprefer the floating rig because bass hit the worm on the fall most of the time the floating rig falls slower giving the bass more time to look at it.
  6. Yeh If you talk about the greastest angler the linder bros would take it hands down look what they have done for fishing in general they are great multi species anglers not just bass anglers.
  7. Yeh thats the onlyi did notice was the pencil ones do work better in choppy water do the smaller oval slip bobbers cause much resistince went a fish pulls it under have you noticed that they do
  8. Is there alot of truth to this topic Ifish alot of the time with floats a would like to know and hear from other guys that do to i've used different float styles but never really noticed the difference
  9. Yeh the lake i fish on is mostly clear so i guess the combos will work fine thanks for the info Isee alot of good size bass on this lake in 5to6ft of water will the spinning baits get me down that far I'm blessed this is the only clear lake around here its so fun to fish on this time of year

  11. Thanks I do have a spinning setup with 10lb line I mostly fish with either 6or8lb now because I like the sensitivety of light line so that will be a change
  12. Yeah shadmaster I would like to try that to I've tried fishing wacky worm style before but didn't have to much luck may I didn't fish it slow enough
  13. Thanks my local walmart has a good selection of spinnerbaits what weight size should I get I fish with spinning gear my set up i use now is a 6ft berkley lighting rod and a guide series spinning reel for gander mountian will that work goog for spinning baits or is the rod to short

  15. Yeh just back from fishing a local lake today for some bass but the blue gills were hitting my nightcrawlers on every cast but I caught some nice gills thats the only thing about fishing this lake for bass the gills love them crawlers more than the bass
  16. Thanks chris I have better luck with slip bobbers as fars as casting distance goes but just wanted to get opinions from other anglers
  17. Which floats are better ovals or pencils also are slip bobbers better than fixed I do alot of fishing with bobbers and night crawlers and need a little help on which rigs are better thanks

  19. hey Im from beloit wisconsin fish mostly the rock river for walleyes and bass and fish the lakes around here hope to see some more wisconsin anglers on here
  20. my choice is bassin much better then bassmasters i think it is more geared toward the average angler not the bass pros they have alot of helpful tips.
  21. keep it simple a few spinning baits a couple rapalas my favorites are the f7s black and white and black and gold floaters i fish in southern wisconsin and they catch bass also strike kings mini kings work good on spinning gear good luck to ya
