This time of year not knowing what the water codition or level is. I would run down ricer to lake marasac. I would take a white spinner bait or a shad colored square bill crank and hit some of the back pockets. good luck

anyone have any advise for fishing lake horseshoe in the fall. I have fished it a lot in the spring but never in the fall. any advice would help.

Me and my brother had a great day of fishing yesterday. We fished the Bennet creek area. We won the Arkansas Childrens Home Bass Tournament. We weighed in 16.23lbs and won big bass with a 5.71lb largemouth. Want to thank all the friendly folks that put this tournament on, and a very special thanks to the henderson marina for hosting the tournament. But most of all I want to thank the good lord for allowing us a great day of fishing.

it is the fishers of men northeast division. I have never been on the lake. I bought a hot spot map and the lake looks good. I will be launching out of devils fork. I have a 16 foot alumanum boat with a 48 hp motor, so I cant do a lot of running. Any help would be helpful...Thanks

What time of year will you be fishing pine bluff. what size boat? if you have a large bass boat and dont mind spending quit a bit of money on gas. I would run down river to coal pile or lake marsac. You can put a 20lb plus sack together down there but it is a pretty long run. If you want to stay closer I would fish in the pine bluff harbor, out on one of the ledges. hope this will help...David

Thanks hawgchaser for the info. I also fish the river at little rock area. My pb there is 3.75 but I keep hoping for a bigger one. i usually fish the little rock pool for the Arkansas big bass. If you ever get a chance to fish at pendelton you should give it a try I have seen a 10 lb caught out of there. I also saw some 25lbs plus 5 fish limits come out of there but I cant find them. I have fished the arkansas river on many occasions but have yet to catch a bass over the 15 inch mark.I have fished just about every lure in the tacklebox. I see other people bringing out 6&7 pounders so I know they are there but no one seems to want to give out any info on where the caught them. If any one could give me some pointers of where to fish and what to use it would be a big help, and greatly appreciated

If you are looking for a trophy size bass I would give pendelton a try. Either run up ruver to coal pile or down river to lake merasach both are great fishing and hold some of the largest bass in the state. Lake dardnell in central arkansas is a good choice also.Hope you catch a wall hanger
