I have an old outboard and have used regular 2 cycle oil for years. This year I'm thinking about using the 2 cycle synthetic oil. Does anyone see a problem switching ? I think the synthetic would be better. Want do you guys think ?

Has anyone used the Energizer Deep Cycle Battery from Sam's Club. The price is great. Wondering if they were any good. Thanks.....

Can you wire 2 6volt batteries of different amps together to get a 12volt. I wire 2 6volt all the time but they both have always been the same amps. Ex: Exide GC2 525 min @25 amps to CG2. I would like to wire Exide E3600 390 min @25 amps to GC2. Does all of this make sense.

I live in Maryland and usually fish the Susquehanna for Smallies. Has anyone fished for Shad. If so, I was wondering when is the best time and where to go. I keep hearing go during the run and the lower Susquehanna is the best. Hope you guys can help...

Friday was the first time to fish TMI. Put in at Goldsboro didn't know where to go, so headed straight out from the ramp. We only caught a few smallmouth but they were good size. Doesn't anyone know where to go up there.

I was on the Potomac Sunday and got caught in that storm. We did a float from Taylor's Landing. The water was and high and running fast. Caught some nice smallies. Lots of fun until the storm. Heading back up this Saturday, may take the boat this time.

My brother-in-law lives in South Baltimore near the Inner Harbar and owes a canoe. He takes it out by Fort McHenry and catches Perch and Stripers.

Has anyone fished the Juniata River around Mexico, Pa area ? Where is a good place to put in, best time of the year, is it best for smallmouth or other kind of fish and of course the bait. Lots of questions but never have fished there. Thanks...

There are 3 nice reservoirs right outside Baltimore. Loch Raven, Liberty and Pretty Boy. Loch Raven you can rent boats. All 3 are good for largemouths, but Liberty is great for smallmouths. I have never fished from the shore. I've had good luck using watermelon and pumpkinseed tubes. Hope this is helpful.

I fish there about 4 times a year. Always catch a few nice largemouths. I've been using pumpkin seed and watermelon Berkley Gulp. Let me know how you do.

How do they mount a hand control transom TM to the bow of a V-Hull ?

I had to replace my old Minn Kota. I measured from the bottom of control head to the top of motor housing unit and it was 48 inches. Hope this helps.

I would like to mount a trolling motor on the bow of my V-Hull. A buddy is going to make me an aluminum plate 1/8 inche thick, but we don't know what size to make it. How much space is needed ?
