I too have had the fishing bug all of my life (47years Young ) last year my wife and I got ourselves a new boat . 3 years ago my wife got breast cancer went through all the surgery and treatments and what not and so far by the grace of god she is now clear of cancer. We spend as much time fishing as we can . It is so AWESOME to spend time out on the water with my wife , I can't Wait to get out this year. Sorry for the long post . Kevin
  2. My wife and I picked up two this summer we like them they fit good . At least you can move around with it on. We live in Manitoba Canada to buy here they are well over a $ 120.00 to 150.00.So one weekend we took a trip to down to Grand Forks nd . they take up much less room to. Kevin

  5. Yes it is a new problem, the motor only has maybe 15 hrs on it. :'( The boat and motor were new this spring . There is no dings or anything on the prop. Work's great at slower speeds, thanks for your help Sneaker. I will be calling the dealer where we got the boat in the am. Kevin

  7. I have a 60 4 stroke merc ,at wot it seems like it is slipping . Sounds dumb but that's what it feels like, @ 3/4 it is OK but as soon as I go wot it starts to act up and slip? It stopped my motor today shut it down all together even kicked the safety switch at the controls . Anyone know what it could be? Thanks in advance. Kevin
  8. Got the GPS hooked up on my boat and with the wife and me in the boat it will run 32 mph on the GPS hopes this helps. Kevin
  9. It's a 2008 1600 Fishhawk side console . only running two batt,and a 46 lb trolling motor. I'm not sure what prop is on it sorry. It's just the prop the dealer put on. It don't seem to take to long to get on plain. I'm not one that goes balls out all over the place I like to look around alot. When I get my GPS I will let you know what the speed is. Hope this helps some what. Kevin
  10. I have a 16 ft Crestliner w/60 4 stroke merc, and with me and my wife in it it will do 35/37 on the speedo . I will be putting a gps in it when I do I will repost. Kevin
  11. I'm looking at getting one for our 1600 Fish hawk .Does anyone use have one and if so do you like it ? I live in Manitoba canada and will be fishing manitoba and north west ont . If you could tell me what map card would be good for here. Thank you for any info you may have. Kevin
  12. My wife and I got a Crestliner 1600 fishhawk with a 60 4 stroke Merc (I know not a bass boat). Had it out for the first time today it is an awesome boat had a blast in it. It ran 41 mph on the speedo with all my gear and a half tank of fuel.Done the break in and some fishing very cold on the water here today in Manitoba Canada.Only got a bullhead that's it for fish. but had fun running the boat.   14. This was a lot of help for me too, My wife and I just got a new Crestliner 1600 fish hawk. So I will be learning about finders this year as well.
