  1. Way to go champ!!! CJ
  2. Maybe Emily could make me a necklace.
  3. CJ and me took a break from the big lake to go after some largemouth with our new fishing buddy. We had a blast! If we wouldn't have caught a fish it still would have been a great time but, we caught several. I guess we caught 35 or 40 fish all together and the change of scenery was nice. Sitting between two well rounded fisherman as they shared their knowledge was a treat. I really learned a lot in just one day! We caught fish on a variety of lures. Worms, spinnerbaits, and rattle baits (whatever you call em') caught most of them and they weren't real deep, which was a break for me! I won't say who caught the biggest fish but, it wasn't a guy. : ;D LOL Here's some pics:
  4. Thanks for all the compliments on #3 fish. I sure thought it was bigger than 3lb 5oz. I think the scales were broke!
  5. If you lose the lid you can always do what CJ does. He puts Mega Strike in his bag of plastics. This saves him the time of putting it on each one. Just squeeze it in the bag and rub them all together. This should save you time and keep it from getting all over everything. Since the lid is missing. Teria
  6. I don't know if it's all in my head, but I think it's awesome stuff! I would defiantly recommend using it. JMO, Teria
  7. It is always great to see a child that happy. Congrats to your Daughter.
  8. I'm glad your problem is solved. I wish it was as easy for me. This has been my weakness from the start. I think your right. Paying attention has allot to do with this matter. I get very frustrated every time I lose a fish. It happens to me allot. :'( I went fishing Wednesday and I set the hook, just not good enough. I had two fish that were lost right before I could get them in the boat. My husband says it's going to break my heart when I lose a 6lb fish because I didn't set the hook good. It already does break my heart and they were just keepers. Teria
  9. Welcome! I am also new to Bass fishing. You will learn allot from the members here at Bass Resource. I know I have. Teria
  10. Defiantly get a pair! I went fishing over the weekend and forgot my polarized sunglasses. I won't make that mistake again. I have a pair of SunCloud sunglasses and I really like them. I think they are around sixty dollars. I think any pair would be better than none. I will say this when you spend over twenty dollars on a pair of glasses you tend to guard them with your life. I can't count the amount of sunglasses I have lost each summer. I have defiantly kept up with this pair. Teria
  11. Oh... thanks for your input. Although it has nothing to do with the topic. Maybe next time you post you should focus more on the topic not the person who started it. Teria
  12. Thanks it makes me feel better to know I'm not the only one.
  13. she caught 'em mostly by herself i guess is the best way to say it. i just hand her the pole and she starts crankin' when we get a bite. but when they get close, she likes to hand me the pole and net the fish. that's her favorite part with the catfish. we didn't weigh any of 'em. i guess they were about 2-4 pounds. actually, her favorite part of this whole trip was once when she put her hook in the water without bait on it and caught a bluegill anyway (really). she is still talking about that this morning and she wanted me to make sure i told everybody that. 8-) Tell her she must be something special to catch a fish with no bait. I love the way she handles those fish. What a cutie!
