  1. RW, what don't you like about fishing with braid? You also said "I would NOT recommend PP". Why? Just to let you know I don't fish with braid, but have been thinking lately of giving it a try.
  2. You have to give them a call and they will process your order over the phone. You can't order some of those items on the list throught their website. It was as easy as ordering from their site. Good luck getting someone on the phone, their lines are jammed.
  3. Their are somethings they just can't advertise, that is what they told me. Look what I just bought. A Shimano Core, that's on the list. I didn't ask about the another items, but they might be on sale to.
  4. You have to call in and check.
  5. Tackle Warehouse is having their 15% off Labor Day Sale on right now. It does say that you have to call "For deals to good to advertise." Call in because I now have a Core 50MG7 on the way.
  6. I didn't know that G.Loomis/Shimano was suing North Fork Composites, Gary's new company. Does anyone know why? http://northforkcomposites.com/blog/

  9. That's a good color, but I need to use the chuck for small 1/4 oz jigs that I will be using. Could cut them down to size.
  10. I'm placing an order over at tackle warehouse and was about to order some more Rage Tail Chunk's. What color chunk should I buy for pb & j colored jigs? I have the black\blue and green pumpkin ones already. Thanks

  13. The Curado CU50E / CU51E is for real. It's already been posted on Shimano's website.
  14. I'm about to order a pair of Costa Del Mar glasses and I would like to know which lense color do you guys use. This is the one I'm thinking. Man-O-War in 580 green mirror glass.
  15. RW, I just called North Fork Composites in WA and the answering machine came on and said " Hi this is Gary Loomis........". He's back!! I couldn't find the number. If you can PM it to me, and it isn't too far, I'd be more than happy to "scope" it out and get the scoop. The only benefit of living in WA state. ;D PM coming. Anyways I was placing an order over the phone this morning at Tackle Warehouse and already Gary has called them about his new company.

  18. I just bought a pair of Oakley STRAIGHT JACKET sunglass in shallow blue. All I can say is WoW!!!! Check them out. http://oakley.com/pd/5717
  19. Hey Dave, I think I'm going to go with the IMX. 8-)
  20. Not quite. Would I be getting 40% more of a rod to justify the $100 difference? If so, then yes, but I bet it's more along 10% better/lighter/sensitive, realistically. Like previosly mentioned, save the $100 for some LC lures. I bet a Crucial + LC = more fish than an IMX and no baits. ;D That's a good way in looking at it, save a $100. Very good info so far and it's hard choice to make. I asked a very similar question last summer, Crucial or Avid. That was a tough choice to, I went with a Avid and that was only a $20 difference. Thank God TW is out of stock on the 783C, gives me more time to decide.
  21. I just bought a brand new Shimano 50MG and need a new rod for it. I was thinking of buying a G.Loomis ($260.00) Mag Bass IMX casting rod 783C 6'6"Med Hvy or a Shimano ($149.99) Crucial Cast Rod 6'6" Med Hvy CRC-66MH . I already have few St. Croix Avid rods and would like to try a different company for the MG. Like Loomis says about this product - "great all-around rod", is what I looking into. Which one would you guys recommend?
  22. I've also giving up on ordering from BPS website. I've found out that if you place your order over the phone that they can tell you right away if the item is out of stock. Plus, they can tell you how they are going to ship your order and they can give you an option for a couple of dollars more for faster shipping service(they don't offer that cheaper service online). Online you won't know if they will use USPS parcel post, which can take up to 2 - 3 full weeks to get your order. >
  23. I notice that Berkley make two different line spoolers. Which one do you guys use or recommend? berkley line spoolers
