  1. Hello, This summer I have purchased some Toray line(polyamide) off an internet site. This Japaneese line seems to be very good. I have been using it on my Carolina rigs. I also have used it on my shaky head rod. Can anyone give me any personsal feed back on this Japaneese nylon line. I understand that it is fairly new in the US. thanks
  2. Hello, I purchased my Toray flurocarbon line. I put this 6lb line through a few not so scientific tests to see how well it performs compared to other quality flurocarbon lines. I put it through a strenghth test and the results were great. I had a hard time telling how much stonger it was to the lb over the other flurocarbons I tested. I can tell you I had to pull hard to break it. I know without a shadow of doubt that it broke over 6 lbs. The next test I did was to see how stiff it was compared to other lines and the Toray Super hard was stiffer than the other ones I tested. For me, I can manage it on spinning reel just fine but I can see some poeple having an issue with this. Knot strength, I could not see much diffrence in one line to the next. I never had it break at the knot but on all lines they all broke 1/4"-1" from the knot. That is all I have for now. Thanks

  4. Hello, that looks like great information and will serve as a guide line to work off of. I got my hands on some Toray 6lb and want to use it for drop shotting. Has anyone used this stuff and how do you like it. I have a fair amount of line to use for fun fishing but I want the best Fluro I can get for fishing my little local tournaments. Thanks
