  1. Thanks Glenn, you do a great job and have an awesome site. Ill dig around and look at some of those northern articles. Keep up the good work.
  2. Boo- It could be a couple things. Something might not be wired right(although not likely if it used to work). You may have gotten a bum unit, I would call lowrnace/eagle and see what they say, that unit still should be coveered under warranty and they are really good about that stuff. The only ther thing i can think of is if you are using lake chips such a navionics or lakemaster with your gps feature, you need to make sure you have all the updates for the unit before running the chips, if you dont know if your unit is up to date, you can check it on the lowrance/eagle website.
  3. Hey thanks guys, ill check on some of the past posts and look at some guys' locations. I didnt mean to take anything away from the site, it is great! And as far as moving south, if Scheels opens a store down there id gladly relocate. Thanks to all and good fishing, i still have 3 weeks till bass opener.....booo.
  4. This site is definatyl one of the best sites i have found on the net for bass fishing. I think it would be cool to have forums for different areas of the country. Being from Minnesota, a lot of the topics and articles don't apply as much as they do in the south, mostly dues to about three feet of ice that comes every december. Just a thought to see if more people would support it, but dont get me wrong, i love the site.
  5. If you are using mono, try a flourocarbon or a braid, they have a very low stretch and will take a little concern of your rod or setting technique.
