  1. Where can I guy some 2.5 inch tubes in bulk?
  2. During the Post-Spawn, where are you targeting them in the bay. Is it possible to get to them by wading? Tough to get my dad into a boat and my Uncle is usually on a short leash with my Aunt. What baits are you throwing too? Pre-Spawn, Spawn, and Post-Spawn?
  3. About how late into May and/or June are you guys catching them? Won't be home from college for a few weeks or so.
  4. I know it may still be a little early, but is anyone fishing Presque Isle Bay or the Lake for smallies?
  5. Heres the deal. I do most of my bass fishing while wading medium sized streams to bigger rivers. I'm one of those guys that likes carry a lot of different lures bc I always tell myself "You never know what will work" Anyway, as of now I carry a large creel with stuff, but I seem to spend more time fishing stuff out of my creel than actually fishing. Basically I feel like I'm trying to carry 5lbs. of crap in a 2lb. creel. Not to mention it kills my shoulder and neck from the "Strap Burn". Anyone have any CHEAP alternatives that they like to use to store baits in while wading?
  6. I was wondering about those hair jigs you caught that big guy on. It looks like it is made out of Rabbit Fur. Can you elaborate on the construction of it? Also what kind of Jig head is used on it? Not, asking you to share your secrets, I'm just looking to tie a few myself. thanks
  7. What type and make of line do you feel is the best All-Purpose line for Smallies? What is the most versatile for fishing anything from soft plastics to Jerk Baits?
  8. Yeah I've seen the maps on fisherie. I'm looking for the depth contour map of the bay and the lake just outside of the bay. I think I saw it on an earlier post, but I couldn't find it again.
  9. Can anyone point me in the right direction of a Contour Map of Presque Isle Bay and the surrounding lake?
  10. We normally float from somewhere above Cambridge Springs down to Sagertown. It takes a good couple hours. We normally have two rods rigged up and ready to go. I have one rigged with a tube or some sort of crayfish imitation when we stop and fish the bigger holes. I just have not found a bait that will consistently get bit when we are drifting along. I think fishing a tube is too slow and you don't cover as much water as you could with something else. I've fished cranks, jerks, and spinners. Just want to see what you guys get bit on most consistently.

  12. I just wanted to get a few opinions on the best baits to throw when drifting creeks for smallies. I do a lot drifting in the canoe during the summer here in NW PA. I normally hop out and thoroughly fish the "Prime Spots" with soft plastics. During the drift, we're moving down stream with the current. Its definitely too fast to successfully fish with plastics. Any Ideas on what type of bait I should be throwing? Thanks
