After doing some research and plenty of reading i decided to go with one of these models. I was looking at a bonafide 107 but there are no distributors out here in Arizona. I know some may think its obvious go with the minn kota version. I just want to know for those of you that own one how is this kayak when trying to position it for fishing in a wind. I know its not a spot lock. I understand that some that have the pedal model do ok with the repositioning of the kayak being hands free. I felt i could go with a pedal model and then add a xi3 trolling motor with spot lock on it later, but don't know yet if i want to go this route.

I have an MBR 783 and 844 IMX rod. I plan to use the 844 for t-rigs, jigs and light pitching. I want to use the 783 for a multi purpose rod. For those of you that own these rods what type of lines and applications do you guys use or suggest for these rods?

I want to purchase and try some Rapala and Bill Norman crankbaits. My question is what sizes or running depths should I try first. Rapala of course makes the DT series in at least five sizes: DT04 DT06 DT10 DT14 DT16 Norman also comes in various sizes as well: Little N 4'-6' Middle N 6'-8' Deep LN 10'-12' DD 14 12'-14' DD 22 15'-18' Of course I cannot afford all sizes for now, but I wanted to buy at least 2-3 sizes in about 2 different colors. What would you recommend?
