  1. 4 baitcasters, 2 spinning, all GLoomis GLX
  2. What say you about this fishing show? I've bought Kim's videos, very informative.
  3. A 5" Senko....red.
  4. All my rods, both spinning and bait casting are GLoomis GLX's. I do want to try the St. Croix though, maybe up my spring trip to Wisconsin this year.
  5. Thanks all, I'll just tie it and let it sit at the top of the eyelet. And, I'll watch crossing the lines too....
  6. A 5" Senko...caught an 8lb'er and a 9lb'er one week apart, same lake, same spot on the lake, same color Senko.....
  7. Thanks all, like I said in my "intro", I've really enjoyed reading all your posts over the past couple of years and I've picked up some pretty good pointers along the way
  8. Thanks Brian, I lived in Wichita Falls for 12 years before moving back to Texas. You've got a nice little golf course up there I used to play on.
  9. but not new to Bass fishing. Currently in Texas, do most of my fishing in upper Wisconsin-lower Michigan for both small mouth and large mouth. Perhaps I committed a fox pause in actually posting a technical question prior to introducing myself and if so, I don't apologize<g> as I'm a senior and was just having a senior moment. I seem to get a lot of them lately. Heading for Wisconsin in June where my brother and I hook up and hit all the great spots around the Eagle River area. He generally catches more fish than I do, but I'm fishing from the back of the boat and I think that makes a bit of a difference . Anyway, I've enjoyed reading the board for the past few years, have in fact picked up a tidbit or two and hopefully that will continue. Oh, my handle? I carry a colt 'cause I can't carry a cop!
  10. In almost all of the drawings I've seen for tying this knot, it clearly shows a loop of line BELOW the eyelet of a hook, with the remaining line positioned slightly above this loop, but in front of the eyelet. I have seen drawings where all of the line is on the top portion of the eyelet like it would be for a Trilene Knot. So....whats proper? How do you get it to look like the majority of the pictures I've seen? Thanks in advance
