i might have had a better time if it wasn't my first time using a bait caster, that was an adventure. It so much fun learning how to use a baitcaster, birdsnests and knots, almost makes you want to throw them away...oh the memories....wait I still hate my baitcasters.

I fish often with 2 buddys, two of us have john boats and one has a kayak, so its fishing with your buds but also you are free to do/go where ever, we have alot of fun. But I wont hesitate to take out the canoe and fish with one of them either. But I also do enjoy my alone time at my favorite spots.

LBH awesome video . Carbuncle is just getting hammered, there is always a ton of people up there and everyone practicly takes home anything they pull out of the water doesnt matter what they catch.

Carbuncle was very slow today, I picked up 4 nothing special but there were people everywhere, unleashed dogs barking and craping everywhere, screaming and yelling children its turning into the ghetto up there, not to mention all the trash that is scattered around. Give it a few more years and they will probably shut it down like Beach pond. >

Photos? That's only a few oz. off the RI state record. yeah it was 10lb 2oz I was walking by and asked if he had any luck and he showed me so I threw it on my scale for him. I didnt take any photos. But I tried like hell to convince him to thow it back being pre spawn, but no luck there

I have seen a guy take a 10lb bass out of carbuncle 2 years ago on opening day caught on a trout worm. I only knew this because i threw it on my scale. I agree that it is havily fished though.

I was up there tonight for about 4hours, took 1 bass and missed a couple, pretty much practiced my casting. I have seen some very nice fish taken out of there. The only bad part is that it can get very crowded there.

Scale battery was dead, don't know how much she weighed but it was one heck of a fight.

I also spend alot of time down there, its decent fishing. Just got to time it right otherwise there is way to many people down there, especially if its a hoiliday.
