Sunflower seeds seem to do the trick also. The only down side is the salt kills your mouth at first, but after you get use to it, its not that bad.

Wow, I just ordered a G-blanks rod, he said it would be done in 2 weeks. Hopefully it will come sooner. I have never fished a Powell. Being a proud and happy owner of a Carrot Stick and planing to buy more. I would say toss the G-Blanks and Powell choices out and go with a Carrot Stick!

I finally went to Bass Pro Shop this week. I was telling my buddy and he sent me this video.

I don't know my lasts casts usually last more like a dozen casts or more. But there is nothing more cooler than catching one on the first cast.

Until this year I would only use worms but then all of a sudden I started throwing jigs and can't stop. A nice top water explosion is awesome though. Is live bait even legal?? ;D

This reminded me.....there was a handicapped ramp and dock built about 75ft out into one of the local ponds around me, it is great and it helps people in wheelchairs and also it is great for children to fish off. The dock was up for maybe a week before some kids ripped it apart and destroyed it. It has been fixed but it is just amazing how much people do not respect anything.
