I meet my fishing partner through this forum about a year ago maybe a little longer, but anyway we both happened to be in the army at the same base minutes apart, so we decided to hook up a few times and go out to this local lake, we fished and had good times, neither one of us were in a rush to get home, the wifes understood, everything was great, then all of a sudden our schedules changed and we didn't really fish much, hell we didn't even talk much. But, I posted my first post on here in about a year or so, funny thing I am in afghanistan now, and guess what, i get a pm from my fishing partner (bassnsoldier) and he is in iraq, I'm so pumped, anyway just thought this was cool.

Thanks for your replies to my posts. I probably could get a few fish in that clear lake. When I make it home, I plan on buying a boat, any recommendations for a starter boat, should I start small or just go for it all?

If any of you guys don't mind helping a soldier out, my internet over here is very, very slow, could you please send me some fishing videos, from this site that was made, on a cd. I am new to the forum, but I have been fishing for a few years now. I mainly fish kentucky lake and lake barkley, and a few small ponds in between. Unfortunately, I won't be able to fish for another year, because something has taking me away from my home. So keep posting and I'll keep reading, until I make it home. P.S. I amn currently in Afghanistan, I'll try to post my first picture ever. :'(
