I am new to the forum, but I have been fishing for a few years now.  I mainly fish kentucky lake and lake barkley, and a few small ponds in between.  Unfortunately, I won't be able to fish for another year, because something has taking me away from my home.  So keep posting and I'll keep reading, until I make it home.  

P.S.  I amn currently in Afghanistan, I'll try to post my first picture ever. :'(

When I make it home, I plan on buying a boat, any recommendations for a starter boat, should I start small or just go for it all?

Shannon whats up dude!  Long time no see!  Well I am deployed too, but in Iraq at Speicher.  I'm promotable now, just waitin for points to come out.  I go on leave the 23rd so I'll be hittin KY Lake and Lake Taal.  I gotta new lil one at the house too!  Shoot me a PM man, we gotta catch up.  Can't wait to see ya back at Campbell, we gotta hot em up again!

Hey Shannon (fishhard) and Joe (Bassinsoldier) I have finished putting the fishing shows onto DVDs for you today. I will be headed out to BJs tomorrow to pick up some snacks for each of you and the other soldiers in your unit. The packages will have DVDs, snacks and some bass magazines, I hope you guys enjoy them. Once again thanks to both of you for your service, my families thoughts and prayers for a safe return are with both of you as well as the many other soldiers that are protecting us. Well Shannon, we're finally gonna get to watch some fishin shows in our respective sandboxes!  Can't wait till next year to hit the lake with you dude, it'll be a blast.  The fish in Lake Taal will probably be prespawn when u get back.  Can't wait to show ya a few tricks out there!  Thanks Rondef, to you and your family for mailin us some shows and mags and keepin our sanity intact!
