i use bass assasin 4" but im running out and there hard to findso i guess ill have to order online...

this months bassmaster had a article on modifying these somehow, i didnt really read it seeing as how i dont own one, but if you do check it out...

people do it all the time, just not with bass... usually its some kind of koi or other aquarium type fish, so its basicly the same procedure for bass you can probably find plans on the web to turn pool to pond so just look around and tell us how it goes!

when i was young i used to reel in everything real fast, and all id fish were plastic worms, so theyd allways be swimming across the surface i always wondered why i caught so few fish :-?

well its not ON the water seeing as how i dont have a boat but its BY the water... possibly the worst way to loose a fish, so im shore fishing at a local pond, and in on the bank where theres about a 4 foot drop between me and the water with trees on either side me, so i try to cast under an overhanging tree, great cast but its hanging oversome tree limbs, no big deal just reel in and try again as i reel in, about 5 feet from shore BOOM! fish on. so now ive got a problem, between me and the fish is a bush/small tree with my line hanging over it i reel in and the fish(nice size too) is just sitting there hanging from the tree, just out of reach, it hangs there kicking and screaming ans i try to force it out of the tree and finnaly throws the hook.... it sucked so bad...

whose got it now, whats the status? im fairly new here buti check these forums almost daily so count me in!

next time your fishing/ swimming/ around water, catch a lizard and throw it in the water... they amost swim like a small snake, right on top the surface, its kinda cool... so i was thinking about making a small unskirted buzz bait with a plastic lizard on it to immitate that action, but i cant find any buzzes that arnt premaid... im looking for pretty just a blade/wire frame that i could put on a hook or jig, know where i can find em? kno

for some reason ive never had any luck with buzzbaits, big ones, small ones, or otherwise ive never caught jack on em.... im doing it right, i just cant seem to buy a fish with em. am i useing them in the wrong places or what? i fish mostly in mid-late afternoon or early to mid morning....

my smallest this year... i dont know weight was,but its was 4-5 inches long so id guess 3-4 ounces. biggest was probably just over 2 pounds

i almost bought one of these yesterday, saw the price tag and went with a knockoff version for 50 cents.... and i had no problems with it yet.... i dont understand spending alot on single baits when theres no difference in quality of cunstrucing of simaler much cheaper baits...

^^^ how big was the duck? ive caught several snapping turtles on poppers and i caught a couple of crawfish lol ^make good bait

i live in new orleans so that where i do most of my fishing, and ive yet to see a rattler anywhere around here
