I saw the "BR Challenge" post here a couple of weeks ago and along a similar line, I thought this might be something fun to do if anyone else is interested.  Someone coughs up a lure (preferably something that will last a while - hard bait, spinner, jig, etc.).  Take it fishing and hopefully catch something with it, get photos, post them here with details on where you fished, and details of fish caught etc.  Then, pick another member here and send it to them. You can only keep the lure for (7/10/14??? days).  If you lose the lure, you cough up the next one (of your choice) in addition to an added penalty (to be determined...but I'm sure lots of razzing from other members will be included.)  We keep a record and see how many different places and how many fish we can catch with one lure.  Anyone in?  Someone in one of the warmer climates may want to start it off as I don't anticipate having any luck here for the next six weeks or so.  If anyone has any ideas to improve on the idea, feel free to post.

I love this Idea as well.  Bassn Blvd why don't you pick a lure and catch and pic a fish with it.  Then mail the lure it to me.  PM for address.  Once I catch a fish with it I will post the pic and mail the lure to korea.  I suggest making it a simple and durable lure like a spinnerbait. That way if it gets torn up by a member it will be easy to replace.

Great Idea. I think the Mojo charm is a better idea, that way people won't have to keep replacing it. I lose lures like I mean to.

I never said anything but I thought the Mojo idea was silly.  I mean, can't we do something realistic.  Why don't we pass around a rabbit's foot instead?  :

Bassn Blvd has already volunteered to start it off, so go ahead.  It's your choice of whom to send it to next but keep in mind the climate for the next few weeks.  

If you are chosen as a recipient, do your best to keep it moving.  If you know you are going to be away for a couple of weeks, please defer until a better time.

What a BURN!

Definitely up for the smallmouth challenge.  I've been waiting to hit the rivers around here...they were half frozen when temps were in the teens and lower, but now they are overflowing after all the rain!  

Im in. This is an awesome idea. How do we know where the lure is at. Will the person who receives it post that they got it. If this lure last through out the whole thing I wonder how beat up it would be.

this is a great idea. we should have a map with pin-points showing where the baits been and a way to link the pics to the pin points.
