We have not changed our schedule. We have a couple of tournaments that we have to drive 2 hours or so to. Our non boaters pay the boaters entry fee which is $20. Anything over that is strictly up to the non boater. I have offered more on several occasions and the boaters that I have been with never take it.
I am the president of my local club and I have introduced a young member to the club. He is 16. I have received a email about this young man being a liability to the boaters that he is with. My response was that the boater always has a certain amount of liability no matter how old the person is fishing with him. My question is how do you feel about having young members in your club? I say the more the better. I am a firm believer in getting young people involved in the outdoors.
Can anyone help me out with some instructions on how to make my own worm molds out of plaster or bondo. I am interested in starting to pour my own lures. I just want to try it out of some molds that i make before I spend some serious money on aluminum molds.
I have had the pleasure of fishing with Jimmy Houston on Santee Cooper in 2006. That was by far the best fishing trip that I have ever been on. If I got to choose another to fish with it would be Zell Rowland. He seems to be a down to earth type of guy. If I had to choose another it would be KVD because he is one of the best there is. And I would have to fish on my home lake Santee Cooper in the middle of the summer.
I am the President of our club. We do not have a rule about this in our rules. Although we do have a sportsmanship rule that this would probably fall into. I have not had this problem yet, so I do not know how it would be handled. But all other tournaments that I have fished in have had the 50' of anchored boat rule.
