i done a lot of fishing at lake las vegas and was wondering if anybody knows another good place to fish around las vegas thats not a gas tank away. i dont have a boat so lake mead is pretty much out of the question? i appreciate any help!

what pound test does everyone use for bass fishing. i been using 8lb p-line. i love p-line so ill stick with that but i have seen on t.v. and tournaments that guys are useing 12lb+ is this true? and what is the draw back of using heavy line? what is the positive for useing light line?

ya i am about to enter college that was my little brother he asked if he could post something so i got him on the page and he typed what he wanted. he asked me about his pole a little while ago and i said he should do what he thought was best. he has no problem catching fish he is just super competitive and wants to catch more fish that are all bigger than mine and i cant blame him there lol

i am eight years old and go bass fishing with my older brothers all the time. i have a small pole with very light action. it makes it hard to set a hook but it makes it easier to feel a bite. do you think i should get a stiffer pole so i dont miss so many sets or stick with the lighter one so i feel more bites? and any advice to help me catch more fish than my brother would be nice!

i will be attending the university of georgia next semester and was wondering where any good bass fishing spots are close to the area. i am from las vegas nevada and have done my fair share of bass fishing but nothing east of texas. any suggestions?

you cant go wrong with a good old powerbait worm. where i fish four inch blue fleck swimtails worm the best but you have to fish them really slow if they are bedding. i have seen them swim up to it like they are going to hit it many times and then swim off like they are uninterested but they always seem to come back and bite if you leave it there long enough. really pay attention because they just suck it in and you hardly feel the hit if you are just resting even if get a hunch that you got a bite set the hook. also try and find clear water outside of wind curents
