  1. Hey all! Thanks for all the replies! I unfortunately do not have a boat, but my brother does have a canoe which I can probably take out. I'm located in the NW Metro in Brooklyn Center. I'll have to look up some lakes in the SW area. Thanks!
  2. I'd like to know more about shore fishing lakes in the SW. Anybody else want to give me some pointers, as I am a newbie at this? Thanks!

  4. I just began about a month ago. This past weekend my friend and I decided to try out the Lebanon Hills Regional Park in Dakota County, Minnesota, specifically Holland, Schulz, and McDonough Lake. Holland supposedly has largemouth, but we just couldn't get any to bite at 7:30am. The water is deep and my friend was using jig, frogs, worms, and nothing. Schulz and McDonough were jokes, as we didn't find anything in them, not even sunnies near the shore, so we figured it was a dead lake. So anyway, are there good places around the Twin Cities I should be hitting? My brother say to go to Calhoun and Minnetonka so I'll have to try those out, but any other worthy lakes? Thanks in advance!
