  1. this lake is huge and deep, in total it's about 900 acres personally i've only fished it once for bass with no luck, but i'm sure there are tons of fish, your best bet would to go to the local bait shop the fishing hole 2 and ask them.
  2. now that would have won the dink contest!
  3. yeah, i would wait there are hundreds of boats out there, you can check sites like ebay and do local within so many miles. you can save tons of money if you're willing to drive a reasonable distance. i don't know where you're from but in the midwest we have Autorv.com there are tons of boats forsale there, check craigs list too.
  4. ww.monkeysee.com/play/1485-fishing-pitching-a-bait-casting-reel at around 1:40 he gives you the whole run down hopes this helps
  5. That sounds nice and normal! the only advice i can offer from what you have said is make sure you have the lure even with the reel and the tension loose and have good thumb control which comes with practice practice practice!!!
  6. Count me in! smallest one i have on camera. :-/

  9. luckily for me i have a Cabelas 5 minutes and a Bass pro shop 15 minutes from my house, Bass Pro does have a much better selection of fishing gear vs Cabelas, if i had to choose between the two, Bass Pro would be my pick. The only problem i face is decent places to fish.
