find a flat with a rocky bottom and through spinners across it also for spinners look for down structure along the shoreline and toss ur spinners as close to the shore or structure. Also if there are any lily pads in this lake get ur biggest badest spinner and skim it through the weeds and pads ive had good topwater action doing this

it seems like uve got a good game plan but also try throughing spinners at structure tight to the shore line. caught some of the biggest bass of my life doing that

spinners and jigs are good but dont over look a couple of rapalas

Hey guys, All my life i was taught to use hard baits such as spinners and rapalas. But they dont seem to be as effective as they once were so now im looking to get into rubber and plastic baits and see how it works but i am clueless as to what to buy and how to use them. If u have any hints or techniques please let me know

Just go to your local sporting goods dealer and get an assortment of mepps spinners and regular spinners and youll be set to catch smallies all day

im not sure where to go but as far as tackle is concerned u cant go wrong with a couple of mepps spinners for small mouth also the old black and white rapalas are equaly good

u shouldve fished the bluegils as often as u did the bass just to keep the blance
