  1. i think you need alonger rod for carolina rigging... you need more like a 7"MH rod
  2. well lets see where to start!!!!! Excel line - 12lbs, 14lbs, 17lbs, 20lbs and a box for those big spools kvd spinnerbaits paca craws- assorted rage craws- assorted rage shads- assorted rages toads-assorted zoom brushhogs- assorted zoom super hogs zoom lizards paca craw trailers gycb senkos spro frogs bandit cranks RC cranks XPS tackle bag double sided crankbait box falcon terminal box falcon spinnerbait/buzzbait box XPS lifejacket SAVE PHACE MASK cull beam cull system floats cranksbait covers (while blasting off during The BFL tournaments so the dont get caught on me or the carpet or my boaters seats) if i think of what else ill post it!!!!
  3. I myself have had this problem.... As a tournament angler Fishing Co-angler on the BFL tour organization is a must and wanted by the boaters you fish with.... I used to use the big worm bags from academy sports ( the ones with 15 pages in them) and i had 2 of these full of plastics ( from craws to senko to flukes to jig trailers ) and this was very combersome, especially with having a regular tackle box with cranks, spinnerbaits, topwater, and so on!!!!! Well i have recently went to Bass Pro and Purchased a XPS green 370 tackle bag.... I now store all my plastics in the 370 boxes in their own compartments... These boxes have 12 sections in each box, that gives me 36 divided sections to keep all my plastics... i also bought a double sided crank bait box to hold all my cranks, topwater, jerks!!! i also have a 370 box that is just for jigs and trailers, and a 370 for flukes!!! i have a falcon fto terminal tackle box, and a Falcon fto spinnerbait/buzzbait box and all this fits in that XPS tackle bag.... in addition too a cull beam, all my culling floats, scale, towel, clippers, scissors, gps.... everything i need to fish and be happy with choices on the water!!!! It may be heavy but is all in one spot that doesnt get int he way for the boater!!!! and thats my tackle system!!!!
  4. i have 2 shimano curados the 200b versions and they are in good operating shape, no scrathces and work very well but i would like to get a few new ones.. So what are these reels worth $$ wise :-?
  5. academy has the falcon original rods on sale for 85.00 and i was wanting to pick up some falcon lowriders. but i saw the originals on sale, is there a big difference in these rods...
  6. has anyone ever used the okuma baitcasting reels???
  7. I like the baby paca craw, and regular paca craw, those baby mad pacas are just like the bruch hog but better flapping action !!!
  8. TW has a awesome selection of tackle, rods too I have always recieved my stuff within 3 days even down here in ole' mississippi...
  9. well I have used both and caught tons of fish on both brands but.... here is a trick i learned with the rage craws.... if you have a cooler in your boat throw the pack of rages in there and they will get hard and they wont tear as easy when catching fish.... the pacas nothing bad to say about them at all....they just catch fish... i like both really and i also like the 2 sizes the the paca craw comes in..
  10. Well my visor is the stike king colors, blue and light blue, my jersey is a under armour long sleeve fishing shirt....the one thats the blue water digital camo, with everything one it, and I like the crocs (I got the blue color to match everything else) . They are really comfy for all day fishing...so yes everything matches.. 8-)
  11. well lets begin on the colors that i have always caught fish on... baby bass, tennessee shad, crawfish orange belly, pearl redeye, spring craw, firetiger, baby bream, chart. blue back, wild thing, salad bar, MISTAKE, rootbeer, sparkle ghost. they all work. its the only cranks i buy I want to try the orange crush, Also i want to try the flat maxx cranks they have, anyone use those??
  12. Well this is what i got!!! 7'6" flippin special - H action/ Medium flex I will use it for up close flippin action and frogs 3 - 6.9" angler of the year rods: MH action/ Medium fast flex 1. spinnerbaits 2. worms, pitchin plactics 3. pitchin jigs I also use the Basspro crankin stick for my cranks, and I have a 7' M Bionic blade for topwater/buzzbaits. I also have a spinning combo that I use for shakey heads/wacky rigs/dropshots... The reason I went with the falcons is because they are light, sensitive... these rods feel great with my shimano citica reels.. I might get a topwater rod from falcon but not sure if i really need to replace the bionic blade since its really a sight fishing technique instead of needing to be sensitive... I also want to get a casting rod fro wacky rigging/dropshots but not sure which one to get... but the spinning combo will work for now since i dont use that technique all the time!
  13. well I dont guess many people use falcon rods, Oh well i bought some anyway!! thanks for the help though :-/ :-/

  15. I will be fishign the BFL this year as a co-angler and want to make myself a tournament jersey... So what im going to do is use one of my worldwide sportsmans fishign shirts and have my last name embroidered on the rear and my full name on the front right, I also thought i would put a Bass Pro patch on the left side... i dont want to be to outragious because I have no sponsors, and dont want to appear to either... this would look nice and you never know may pick something up along the way!!!!!! I also will be wearing a strike king visor and strike king white sunglasses and some blue crocs!!!! What are your opinions for what i would like to do?? :-?
