I know I must have some nerve making my 7th post on this board be a request for an addition to the site....but here goes. As a newbie I would love if there was a product reviews section... I'm sure the vets would get some use out of it as well. (I know there is a section labeled "reviews" but it's not exactly what I mean.) As I'm picturing it, there would be an area on the site that would have breakdowns of equipment; lures, rods, reels, boating accessories...etc. Once you click on Lures it would be subdivided into Crank Baits, Swim Baits, Spinners, Top Water, Soft Plastics, etc... If I tried a crank bait I would go enter it to the Crank Bait section. There would be room for name of bait, image, color used, size used, price paid, store where purchased...then a rating scale for various attributes: action, ease of use, overall rating...and a section for free writing, how to use it, best conditions to use it in, tips, etc. Once a lure/item is entered into it's proper section someone else can come along and add a review. There would be an "overall" review at the top (a la amazon.com), then you'd be able to see the individual reviews. Obviously the specifices still need to be flushed out a bit, but I hope you see what I mean. I see so many posts asking people to recommend a crank bait, etc...I think this would help. It's obvious that we all love bass fishing. I assume you all watch bass fishing tv shows, subscribe to or at least read bass fishing magazines, and have bought a few bass fishing books. Well...which are your favorites?
