    City Park has some Bass and Catfish in the lagoons there. It's one of my usual fishing spots. You can also fish off the shore of Lake Pontchartrain for trout.

    Hey everyone. I'm David and I hail from New Orleans. I started fishing again for the first time in years a few months ago and I can't get enough of it. I've spent most of my fishing time at City Park, which is recovering nicely for freshwater fish. Other than that, my father and I fish Lake Maurepas every other weekend or so.
