  1. Seafood. His was snapper cooked over mesquite with an avocado salsa on top.
  2. Yes, we talked for several hours. Great guy, with lots of good info and stories to share. He's a real stand-up guy. Hmmmmm.... read that several times and still don't know what you said. Yes, he is, as are most of the pros you know, if not all of them. I can't tell you how many will bring up something somebody said on the forums - all positive remarks. They learn from here too!
  3. ^^ Nailed it! ^^
  4. I had dinner with tonight?
  5. Seaguar is running a very strong value promotion for TATSU: buy 2 spools and get 2 spools free. In essence this allows an angler to get TATSU at around $20.00 a spool- close to what InvizX costs. It's a great deal. The website for details and rebate form is: http://seaguar.com/promotion/tatsu/Tatsu-BOG2-Offer.pdf
  6. Hey Keith! I noticed you started posting again about a week ago. Glad to have you back! I always looked forward to your posts.
  7. Hey folks! I see this question crop up every now and then in various forms, 'How do I get confident in new lures or techniques?". Most people say, "Well just go out and fish it!" I have a different approach...

  10. Over the past couple three dozen years or so, there's been countless times I've had 10 to 15 or more combos out on the front deck while fishing; while some days only 1 or 2. Not trying to copy anyone. That's just how I roll. Good story though!
  11. Yes. Why do you ask?
  12. Here's your chance to speak directly to a pro.
  13. Hey folks! I have the opportunity to interview some pros 1-on-1, and I want to include your questions. Literally. As in "Jake from Spokane, Washington asks...." So PM me your questions and be sure to include your real name, city, and state, and you'll get to see your questions answered in an upcoming video!

  18. Hey guys, here's your shot. Get on it before it's too late. And....GO http://***/2mjFiyD
  19. Hey guys - tell me what you think!
  20. I use the cylindrical slip sinkers because they come through cover and rocks better. In fact, using a bullet weight in rocks is like you're just begging to get hung up. btw: splitshot rig = mojo rig. The only difference is that a splitshot rig uses a pea-shaped weight crimped onto the line instead of using cylindrical slip sinkers. Aside from that, they're indistinguishable.
  21. I can buy a lot more lures than just one for $80.
  22. If you don't shop your local tackle shops, they go out of business. But Okay. Just keep that in mind when you're fishing a tournament, run out of THE KEY bait that's put you in first place on day one, and you can't find a tackle store anywhere within 150 miles of you. I get your frustration, but it's something that could've been avoided with a phone call. If they don't in stock have what you need, and they can't order it for you, then online is an option. Just a thought.
  23. I believe we are, but I haven't received any updates from them yet.
  24. Welcome home! We're glad you're here.
