Boy I wish Seaguar made a co-polymer line, because all their other lines knock it out of the park! But since they don't, I gravitate towards Yo-Zuri co-polymer (hybrid) line when I want to use co-polymer. If you can afford it, Seaguar Tatsu is the best choice.

Your color choice is sound, but I'd use co-polymer or fluoro line in clear water, not braid. I don't like leaders - at all - for many reasons (e.g. knots are another weak link). Co-polymer is probably the most versatile and cost-effective choice for your situation. Try throwing your brand new Chatterbait around rocks with braid, and then see how much you like braid. You might learn a few new 4-letter words. Don't get me wrong - I love braid! But for moving baits that I want to throw around rip-rap and rocks, I won't use it.

Your comments really make everything worthwhile for all of us here at BassResource. We often receive the negative feedback and complaints, which can be a drag sometimes. Positive energy is a terrific motivator! It’s fantastic to hear so many people enjoy this site, and are getting real benefits from it. That has always been our goal. We will continue to aim even higher. Thanks again for your positive feedback. It really means a lot! Glenn

  25. I'm not talking about brands here, but rather technique-specific rods (crankbait, flipping, etc). What will be the next rod you get?
