  1. Great catch, congrats on the new PB. Jigs=Big Fish
  2. Looks good Marty. That clear coat is shining 8-)
  3. So you're sayin' its a deep gamble on the Moonsault :-? Don't expect an answer, that guy hasn't been on in months. Another old thread brought back alive :
  4. You can... In a couple of the rivers around here, reds will move in from the gulf and you'll catch a few while bass fishing sometimes. George, great fish! I love hooking into a big red, they pull like a train.
  5. I would start with a w-rigged senko fished along the bank. If that doesn't work, then the next thing I would try is a shakey head with a trickworm on the back. These 2 lures never fail me when fishing new water
  6. Sure they do. The bigger bass like them. They have lures that imitate them also.
  7. You've done it again Big M. The dark black/blue cranks in the first picture look awesome
  8. Thanks for posting them up. I plan on picking some up from wally this week.
  9. Nice senko bass! Post up some pics of a lunker if you get one tonight
  10. Sounds like fun. Those are some healthy looking bass.
  11. Congrats man! Fishing is the best thing there is.
  12. BPS, they have a better selection and better prices on things. Plus, there's not a Cabelas around here. Online orders- TW
  13. I'd have to go with lily pads also. That's what I mostly fish around here.
  14. Sounds good, thanks for the info.
  15. Nice! I like catching them on small finesse worms with UL. Their all fun regardless of size. What kind of bait is that?
  16. It's simple because of the curved lip on the front. You slowly reel it straight back in. No working the bait or anything. It has a unique plop, plop sound that drives the big bass insane. Still unsure about using it, here's some inspiration http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1233356100/0 People have been using them for 60+ years for a reason. They flat out catch fish.
  17. Not sure what the original thread is about, so I'll take a shot at this. Is it right? 8-) All correct. Good job. The Monkey balls are from the Osage orange trees. Pictured below is one of them. Growing up on the South Side of Pittsburgh, PA we'd roll those down the hills, seeing who could make theirs go the farthest. Bigger than a grapefruit and heavy too. Are you from Pittsburgh or did you google that stuff? Had a boring break. I'll admit it, it was googled
  18. I doubt it cyph. Never heard of anything like it.
  19. ;D Wasn't expecting this topic when I was scrolling through the forum
  20. All were great
  21. They had some great songs... :-/
  22. :-? seriously I like speedbead's answer
  23. I agree with everyone about the jitterbugs. That's my #1 night fishing topwater bait. I have caught some lunkers on them.
