  1. I know where your talking about, but watch out for guy across the street. He will have you car towed from what I am told. He parks right there. Be careful at Gumpas if you go.
  2. There are a FEW bigger ones in there I'm sure, But I personal have never caught anything over 1.5 and I have fished it alot. That place gets a ton of pressure due to easy boat access also. Weekends are the worst time to go also as it's gets loaded with jet skiers and water skiers. If your gonna try it out hit it during the week either real early or late. Good luck.
  3. Gumpas is private. No public access anymore.
  4. Well if you just want to catch fish go to Robinson Pond in Hudson. The bass are usually about a pound, But there are alot of them. Fish the edges of the weeds (milfoil) away from the shore with a senko or crankbait or by the pads in the back. Get there early though as it loads up with the weekend warriors. Good luck and let me know how you do.
  5. Anyone got a good smallmouth spot I can try this morning?
  6. Tom I sent you a text last night about fishing today did you get it?
  7. Congrats Shane. Way to give them a licking.
  8. I was there last week just checking it out and was told not to waste my time. There are bass there, But not in great numbers and size. He also told me there are a ton of jet skiers and water skiers out there on the weekend. I am game if you still want to try it or somewhere else. I will call you tomorrow. I did fish knopps pond in Groton and that was horrible. Loads of milfoil and fanwart. My son and I only caught a few small ones there.
  9. Got out today with my son for almost 2 hours and caught a few. Here is a picture of my son's 2lbs 1 oz. I caught one 2 pounds even. We were at Steven's pond in ManchVegas. Not bad for a couple of hours.
  10. Very nice smallie congrats. Glad to see you back at it.
  11. Pictures from yesterday at BIP
  12. Nice Tom. Glad to see your back online. I will be in touch. I just picked up a 10' Jon boat to. No more inflatable for me. Got out today at BIP with my boys and did really well (7 total). He caught his first SMB so he was very excited. No biggy's but at least it was great action. Found them all out deep (12 to 18') off the rocks. Fun times. Hope everyone is doing well also.
  13. Naticook is a waste of time to be honest as well as Horseshoe pond. I use to fish them both. Check out flint's pond in Hollis or Flints pond in tyngsboro. Hope that helps.
  14. Thanks. We hit that place when we know we will catch fish. LOL. That pond is a small private farm pond and to be honest it is loaded with bass. They very rarely see any baits so it is fun.
  15. Well my son and I just got back from Knops pond in Groton, MA and it was horrible fishing. We only managed 3 small bass in 3 hours out there. I was told my the locals that there are many 3 pounders and a few 8 pounders in there, But I sure didn't find any. It may of been just the day to. The pond is an average of 3.5 to 4.0 feet deep and loaded with milfoil and fanwart which makes it really tough to find them. Just wanted to share some info to anyone thinking of trying it out.
  16. Thanks Fmoore. We had a blast. His thumb got so beat up he had to wear gloves. ;D
  17. Thanks Shane.100 percent true also. 8-)
  18. Got out today with my son for about 4 hours and caught a WHOPPING 63 LMB. I'm not kidding either. Best day I have had on the water this year. My biggest was 4 lbs even and my sons was just under 2lbs. All bass were over a pound. What a awesome day. Loved the wind today. :) Here are just a few pictures.
  19. Congrats. Use a weighted hook or add split shots to the line. Hope this helps.
  20. Awesome. Thanks a lot for the help guys.
  21. Nice. It was a ghost town when we were there. Very weird.
  22. Looks like you caught nuclear bass from the picture... LOL. Nice job.
  23. That was a nice fish (Congrats), But man that place was hard on me today. Good to get out there with you guys though. Shane thanks again....
