  1. I live right on the PA/MD border and do most of my fishing in MD... Upper Potomac when I can. Lakes include but not limited to Cunningham Falls, Greenbrier, and Blairs Valley, as well as a few in PA. Always looking for people to go fishing with so hit me up if you are in my area.
  2. he was stoked! i had taken him saltwater fishing before but catching a decent bass on medium light tackle is better than hauling up similar size fish on 20lb test.
  3. well i got him his first bass. here's a pic. also got someone to take us out on the potomac on sunday.
  4. took my 12 year old step son bass fishing for his first time. we had a great time and the first bass he caught was a decent one. i tell you what, there is no better feeling than taking a kid fishing.
  5. thanks everyone for responding. below dam 4 for gets really, really skinny. i took my step son there and we could rock hop to just about the middle of it. whats up Munkin thanks for the offer, my 12 year step son is in town so i would need someone with 2 open seats. he has never caught a smallie. or a freshwater bass for that matter. so if anyone wants to hook up a kid for his first smallie let me know.
  6. wow, 27 views no responses. is it something i said?
  7. if you were to pick up the bucket you would be lifting 25 lbs.
  8. moved here from the left coast about 6 months ago and am looking for fishing buddies. i 've got nobody to tell my lies to. i got one buddy who has showed me some good spots, but if anyone has suggestions on where to fish please post.
  9. 4 inch tubes work just fine for the smallies, but you should always have smaller ones in your arsenal.
