I have a 1989 150 Evinrude and i had motor work done to it this past winter. New stator, flywheel and a good carburator cleaning so i thought that it would run fine this year. I have asked some people about why it wont keep running when idling. I have tried sta-bil and I run startron on every fill up. When i put the muffs on to start it at home it will idle all day perfectly but as soon as i get it to the lake it wont idle. It gets pretty flustrating! The motors a two stroke as well. Anything suggestions? Thanks, Allen.

So if i go up or down in pitch what will happen? and ive been looking at props and do i need exactly the 14 1/4 size? I know nothing about props or boat motors as you can tell! Only 19 so trying to learn!

I think it says i have a 14 1/4 21" prop.

Yes it is actually stored outside and that makes sense because my older 1989 ford f150 could not put it that well and i always thought why is the truck having such a hard time. Got a 2009 ford f150 now and have no problem of course but thanks for all your help. Im looking into buying a new boat in a couple of years so ill just keep on fishing with it! Thanks Allen

I have a 1989 Ranger 364V with a 150 Evinrude and i was thinking of trying to get a little bit more out of my engine performance wise! Top speed ive had is 46 mph and i was trying to see if i could get a little more out of it. I've already made adjustments according to this video, which really helped! Now I'm looking to change props. I dont know much about props but i was wondering if anyone had a prop that made a big differance? Thanks, Allen

I have a 1989 Ranger bass boat. Over the years the clear or gel coat has came off. I was wondering what would be the best thing to make my boat sparkle like it used to. B)Could i just wet sand it and spray clear coat on it? Not really sure what would be the best product. Thanks!, Allen

Been fishing briery a lot more this year, paid off today when i caught a 7.5 pound bass! really slow though. Its been a great year. more bass than ive ever caught yet! ;D

Im looking for some tournaments at leesville. Also looking for some bass clubs too. Ive been there many many many times and would like to see how i would do and to start tournament fishing as well. Well, im 18 fishing out of my dads bass boat, got everything set to go. I would apreciate your help a lot. Thanks. Allen

I fish a lot at leesville and ive seen little tournaments and things going on so does anybody know whats going on? I just want to get out there and do some little tournaments. ;D
