  1. key chain bass guy, We've never fished the other 2 ponds across the street (Collins and Brackett). We usually fish from the canoe and the pond right on the road is pretty small, although I see alot of people fishing there. The other one has no boat access, unless we lug the canoe a few hundred feet thru the woods. We've fished Frye pond, which is in the campground. It's very small. One side has no access because the campsites are there. The other bank is very overgrown with brush and trees. Lots of lures and bobbers hanging from the branches. Stearns pond is about the size of Field pond. I was told by a park ranger that they've pulled 4+ lb bass from there. We checked it out last year. The side that you can access from the road is VERY weedy and enough lilly pads that you could walk across it. You'd have to hike around to the other side but it might be worth it.
  2. Hey key chain bass guy, Did that fish already have a hole in it's mouth? It looks about the same size as the one me and my son caught at Harold Parker back in July. The one we caught measured 18 inches and was over 3 lbs. The scale we have isn't that accurate. I can tell by the photo that your in the parking lot/boat launch for Fields Pond. That's where we go fishing all the time. We were there Monday (9/1) and caught 2 bass. One was about 14 inches and the other was about 12. We didn't measure them. Here's a pic of the one from July. Fields Pond is a great fishing spot! Happy angling. Keep throwing em back so we can catch em again
