Hey yall I'm back once again seeking some help on my search for a new boat. I came across a 15 foot dixie bass boat. I was wondering if Dixie makes quality boats. It has a 40 hp evinrude, a new deck, and a good bit of storage space. From the pictures it looks like a well kept boat. The guy is asking $2000 for it. I was wondering if this is a good deal, and if i should pursue it. Thanks again for the help.

I really appreciate the help. I took a look at the boat and it was obvious that it was poorly made, and that it was not worth the time. Well...Back to Craigslist!

I posted earlier that I was looking to buy a new boat. While searching craigslist I came across a "Jason" bass boat. It is a 1986 model with a 75 hp mariner. The guy said the motor needed some work, but I was wondering if anyone knew anything about Jason bass boats and if it would be a good buy.

I am looking to buy a new jon boat for bass fishing. Im looking for a boat that will be stable enough to fish in larger lakes. I dont need anything huge, just something that will get me to where the fish are. Any suggestions on quality jon boats that I should be looking at? Would I be better off trying to find a used boat? Ive got $4,000 to spend. Thanks for the help.
