Really special find Mr. Hootie! Those Snatrix were fish catching baits back when they were made. I carried nothing but those and Rebel Ringworms for plastics.
  3. Welcome! Another place to ask your question would be here: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/forum/16-southeast-bass-fishing/

  8. Confident fishing; Most everytime on the water I start with a supreme amount of confidence. I usually know the what, where, and why so I pick my bait and go to work. There are times I catch and there are times I don't. I never sweat it and always take a positive approach to the day from start to finish. If experience has taught me anything It's a "knowing" what to do. I might go fishless or I might catch my personal best but no matter what I put myself In what I feel Is the best possible place(location) to catch some fish which In turn breeds an Incredible amount of confidence. On a side note: For those of you that find yourself merely going through the motions I suggest this. Everyone has those days and It's quite common. What I do Is simply set everything down for a few minutes, think about the day while eating a bite or drinking a drink and just enjoy the down time. To the OP, good topic, thanks for posting!

  12. Where was this Kyle?
  13. Look In the "didn't win" section. You may have been out bid and lost the auction.
  14. Zoom! I really can't say enough good things about this small profile worm. If I was forced to throw one worm only It would be a Zoom finesse worm In the color black.
  15. That's awesome Nitro, thanks for sharing this!
  16. If it were me I would spend a decent amount of time there, find little differences in bottom contour, and use a bait(s) that you have a high amount of confidence in in throwing. When I say spend a decent amount of time out there I mean get there a lot and take the time to learn everything about the place. If you do that you'll find out where they live, their habits, and how they position. If you do that you'll catch fish.
  17. Get well Scott, and then In the years to come you can go on many more trips!
  18. A gift card for yourself and save it for a few months and buy another one. I would continues to do this and buy something(s) you really want at their Thanksgiving or Christmas sales.
  19. If black fish(regional name) are your desire come on down to NC and I'll take you to a place that's loaded with those toothy critters. I personally don't care to catch them but that's maybe because I have caught too durn many.
  20. @curtis9 Awesome avatar! As for the pliers, I have a cheap pair of dedicated Rapala split ring pliers that I have no complaints with and regular needle nose for most everything else.
