i just read the thread by Dan saying it's easy to blame the immigrants,well Dan come to Braddock park, N.Bergen n.j. and i will show you where there USED to be 10 sunfish beds that are no longer there because of your "easy to blame immigrants", i have personally witnessed 3 "sweethearts" take every sunfish off a bed,they fish with hand-lines,have no regard for laws or limits and most of all NO LISECNES! it took every cell in my body no to go to jail that day!and i have called fish and game,in jersey, game wardens are like hens teeth.1 officer for like 3-4 counties,took 2 hours for him to show up,they were long gone,well guess what? the lake no longer has hand liners know why? NO MORE SUNFISH BEDS! at least not in "hand-line distance" so Dan, please forgive me if i don't feel the same as you do about "easy to blame immigrants"

go to FLW outdoors there is a topic called the co-angler clinic,i must have read those articles like ten times before my first BFL tourny as a co-angler,it explains some things "do's and dont's",but sometimes no amount of advice can explain everything, my advice,RELAX.the more you try to do everything at once, the more fustrated you will become, i look at it as just a day fishing, but like everything else, the more you do it the easier it gets,good luck.

20.00$ for just 1 crankbait seems to be a bit much,i could buy 2-3 SPRO's for that much,just my 2cents. watch,now these lures are going to be the hottest things on the water and go for twice the amount.

I have a Daiwa TD Tierra 6'6 med-lite 1 piece,that works very well for me.

i have been fishing for at least 30 yrs and never really believed any of those fish attractants really ever worked,and i will admit i have used many of them with no success,with one exception, Megastrike!. i really believe it works,i have caught fish without it,but it seems i catch more with it,wheather it's my imaganaiton or not,i have confidence in it. [as a side note i am just a little annoyed that MS changed it's formula by adding garlic to it.]

it's easy to avoid jerks like that, stay more than 20ft away! i have had the same problem ,i have had guys start fishing behind me and a fish would rise to my bait and "thief" would cast right at it!so what i did was to turn around, start casting right over his line,he got the message. if it is a small lake and if i see someone fishing clockwise, i start fishing counter clockwise this way i am fishing where he's not.cause i really don't like it when someone is behind me pressuring me to move on,like most people i like to spend at least 5mins fan casting, then i'll walk 30-40ft down the bank and start again. i understand what your saying,but sorry, i disagree. especially if he was fishing there before you,you could have started fishing in the other direction.
