Okay - Here is the absolute truth. The reason Shaw looks different is that he does not have a hat on. He does not have a toupee (never has) and has not had chemo. As to the weight, he has weighed the same the last 4 years. After his heart surgery 5 years ago, he has been paying very strict attention to his diet. He still eats like a horse, but he follows a low fat diet with a lot of chicken and fish. As to the gloves, face masks and scarves: Have you ever seen him fishing in shorts and a short sleeved shirt? No! Shaw is very careful with sun exposure and always wears long sleeves, long pants, hats and sunscreen when ever he fishes. The gloves and face mask are something he has been wearing for years while fishing. He usually does not wear them in photos. We all should pay attention to how much sun exposure we get. If you spend a lot of time in the sun, it is a good idea to see a dermatologist yearly for a check.
