even in florida I dont have a problem witht he size, some of the biggest fish ive ever caught have come on small crankbaits. but the slow sinker don stay down which is a little frustrating.
I would say a drop shot is a great idea and I know people do that on conway. also I think a 1/4 oz bullet weight with a brush hog would likely be very good.
We are fishing out of clewiston in feb. we where hoping you all could give us some info on good places to fish on the south end of the lake any info you have got would be great.
in north florida I have caught just one gator and one snake in 17 years in south florida in 6 months i have caught 5 gators and 2 snakes and 4 of the gators were under water?
george is horrible right now the water dropped like 1.5 feet in 2 weeks and the only way to catch any is bed fishing. we had 2 tournys this weekend and the only way any one caught fish in the river was bed fishing and one guy caught a few small fish behind grass lines. but there are some fish biting in rodman but even they are hard to catch. but there are a lot of jack and they will put a bend in your rod. they are every were.
