I believe that those who fish in tornuments are athletes. The weekend angler is just a fisherman. That would be the same as a high school basket ball player is an athlete but a group playing half court in a school yard is not. Just my opinion.

I am wanting to get a new ancher that is easier to store on the boat. The one I have now takes up alot of space. The one I am looking at is a river ancher that is good for mud bottom lakes as well. It comes in different weights. What would be the right weight to get? I have a 15ft SeaArk boat. Thanks for any help.

No one introduced me but as a kid I would take a cane pole we had to the creek we lived on. Wouldn't catch anything but had fun. At 16 I went to Yellow Stone with a friend and cought 3 small cut throat. That was the last time until last year when I wanted to take my son. I'm now 36. I wish that I keeped on fishing back in my teen years. I really love fishing!

This was my first year fishing. So I had a lot to learn about it. My biggest Bass was about 1lbs. I did catch a lot of crappie but I am more interested in bass. Also got my first boat at the end of the season. I got my 5 year old son started this year as well and all he talks about is fishing. Like reading all the good information on this forum. Cann't wait until spring gets hear. Thanks and Merry Christmas and happy new year.

I have a Motorguide 743 foot control trolling motor. I bought the boat used and have no manuel with it. The pointer dose not point in the durection that the motor is going. How would I set the pointer with the motor? Thanks for any help.

First time posting a message. I am new to boating. I got a 14.5 foot Sea Ark. I bought it used. After my third trip out when I was backing it up into the drive I bent the front of the trailer. If it can be fixed then how would I go about it? Thanks for any help.
