EAST=LESS/ WEST=BEST??? True or False...
Wind from east, fish bite least. Wind from west, fish bite best. Wind from north, don't venture forth. Wind from South, hook in mouth. I don't catch as many in an east or north wind....it's that simple.

Step in here for a debate.....(Fishing....Natural Talent vs. Learned Talent?)
Anyone can become a "good" fisherman, but it requires a natural talent and drive to become a "pro"

How would you fish this lake
If it's too shallow for spinnerbaits/cranks, throw a floating worm or a fluke. Topwater might be good as well.

Wacky Rigging, My Way
Better yet, just forget about this whole technique. Everyone knows bass won't hit a wacky worm.

Spinnerbait or Crankbait
Booyah makes great spinnerbaits for the money. Norman's Deep Little N is a KILLER crankbait if the fish are holding in the 6 - 10 ft. range. The biggest thing with a crankbait is, you have to maintain bottom contact all the time. You want that bait "banging" around on the rocks and stumps. The only time you don't want this is if you're fishing a super-shallow crank like Mann's baby 1- . The best way to learn to fish spinners and cranks is to leave all your other tackle at home, and make yourself fish with them.

Topwater question
15 lb. mono is great for topwaters. If you want to decrease line size, that's fine, but I'd stick with mono. You want a little stretch to keep from taking the bait from the fish too fast.

P-Line?
Hey y'all, I'm new here and I have a question. I'm setting up a rod for jig fishing, and I'm trying to decide on the best line to use. I don't like braid, BTW. I bought a roll of P-Line Evolution. Has anyone used this? How is the stretch, strength,and abrasion resistanc. Thanks
