Rattle traps on the Marsh
In brief, the fishing was good. My son Scott, Don(WWF), and myself went searching the south end of Farm 13 and had a pretty good morning. Nothing really big came out of the foray, but we did have a good time. Really can't say too much - rattle traps produced 25 bass and we quit at 11:45. Chrome/Blue-orange belly. The weather started wet and soupy but ended up really nice. Here's hoping the next few days hold good. It's going to cool a bit, but no hard wind forecasted.

Ask the pro-BassFeed- sponsorship
The first definition should address: What is sponsorship?

Where to fish in central FL
"Spawning Habits - Spawning occurs from December through May, but usually begins in February and March in most of Florida when water temperatures reach 58 to 65 degrees and continues as temperatures rise into the 70s. The male builds saucer-shaped nests 20 to 30 inches in diameter by placing its lower jaw near the bottom and rotating around this central location. Bass prefer to build nests in hard-bottom areas along shallow shorelines or in protected areas such as canals and coves. Depending on her size, the female can lay up to 100,000 eggs, which are fertilized as they settle into the nest. After spawning is completed, usually five to 10 days, the male guards the nest and eggs and later the young (sometimes called fry) attacking anything that approaches the nest. The female bass stays near the nest or may swim a short distance and remain listless for up to a day. After hatching, the fry swim in tight schools, disbanding when the small fish reach a length of about one inch." Florida GFC No: the spawn is not on - fish are just starting to migrate to annual haunts. The spawn is well down the road.

Re: First Resume I NEED HELP!!!!
"To introduce and create new relationships in the bass fishing industry" That is the crux to obtaining sponsorship, and the way that occurs is by becoming known in the industry. Let me assure you that the industry neighborhood is small. There are no shortcuts. It takes but a short time for one to become known, whether good or bad. To garner sponsorship you need to place yourself in position to become known. Of course first you have to decide for yourself what you consider sponsorship is.

Asking your wife's permission...
Good observation gman. There is no similarity between being married and living with someone. Somewhere in the wedding ceremonial words, completely unheard by the male, are those words: do you promise to let the women run your world: and of course the automatic male response is - I do. :'(

Asking your wife's permission...
Remember: It is always easier to get forgiveness than it is to get permission. That being said I have to put a bandage on this bump on my head.

Really good spinnerbaits?
Innovative - give it a shot! KaRu Lures is proud to unveil their newest lure "The VibraSpin". Developing a new bass fishing lure resembling the spinner bait was the goal for Karl Franzen, V.P. and Director of Research & Development. KaRu Lures has taken the spinner bait, that has been utilized throughout the last century (without much change to the action), and brought it into the New Millenium. "We took a lure that bass fishing enthusiasts have been using for decades and bumped it up to the next level of performance" says Franzen. Taking two of the most important factors in attracting fish, VIBRATION and FLASH, the new VibraSpin encompasses both of these key elements. http://www.karulures.com/

battery location
What battery is anyone aware of that will not handle vibration. Unless you are connecting it to your recliner in your living room it is going to be subject to all kinds of vibration, no matter who makes it or what kind it is. To my knowledge, the only use of automotive/marine batteries in in boats, and automotive type vehicles, and both vibrate like crazy.

Rotting Floor Problem
The first thing you need to do is stop the progression of the wood rot. You can achieve this by thoroughly treating the area with Boric acid. Depending on the amount of wood rot you may actually have to replace the wood in the area. Just gluing a piece of wood on top of the rotted wood will not solve your problem. Wood rot is an active fungus! It will stay active in a boat once started as it only requires a small amount of moisture. Boric acid kills the fungus.

River Ranch
River Ranch sits off a lateral canal that comes in off the Kissimmee River just south of route 60. You are under an hour from: Lake Kissimmee, Lake Hatcheneha, Lake Walk-In-Water, Blue Cypress Lake, Lake Toho, Cypress Lake, Lake Marion, Ansin/Garcia, Stick Marsh/Farm 13, Crooked Lake, and a few others. Not far from you is Camp Mack, and Cap't Dick Lawson is one of several guides from there that fish most of these lakes. PS: I caught one from the lateral canal that went 9.75 pounds on a white spiner bait. I caught several nice fish in the marina area and canal in River Ranch.

Things you just cannot get rid of...
That nagging knowledge that you would be catching more and bigger fish if you actually bought from Yamamoto. : ;D 8-)

Stick Marsh/Farm 13
December closeout was a bit slow for us this year which was to be expected with current gas prices, Christmas, and family gatherings. The fishing during the last couple of weeks has been fair with fish being found in the south end of the Farm, in the Back Lot, and in the NW area of the Stick Marsh. Our two top producing baits were the Senko and the rattle trap. Working the trap in the south end of the Farm and the NW are of the Marsh was the ticket, and the Senko was the producer in the Back Lot. Senkos as long as they are dark, and traps in chrome/blue/orange belly are color choices. On the last trip a Pop-R accounted for several fish throughout the morning. The first days of January have been very windy and very cold. A scheduled outing for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, have been postponed until a later time as temps sank into the 30's and winds blew 25-35 with occasional gale force gusts. However the cold temps are just what the doctor ordered to move fish southward towards spawning grounds. See you out there. Give a shout if you get the chance.

going to lake okeechobee for first time any GPS way points or info to recommend?
"Stickmarsh get there before sun-up and follow a guide to avoid the stumps. They fish darn near all in the same place, the spillway with shiners." Poor advice and an absolutely inaccurate statement.
