Jig And Crankbait Rod?
What's your price range for each? For jigs I like my Cumara A 72 MHXF for cranks I use an Avid 7' MHM.

Late To Weigh In Question.
Our club requires us to call the tourney director before weigh in. I had the same situation a few years ago with a different club and it was decided to ask the other participants if anyone minded me weighing in without penalty for towing a pontoon in. No one minded and I weighed my sack without a deduction.

How To Pick A Baitcaster 101
The easier way is to look for the one that says 'Shimano' on the box. Just kidding, great information. I never knew BPS was made by Pure.

What Braid For Spinning Reel?
I use 30lb PP but any of the lines you listed will do fine in30 lb or less.

I'm Buying A New Bass Boat What Brands Are Best?
x2 being able to swing the payments is not the same as being able to afford it.

Rain, Rain Now Snow

Curado 200G Vs. 200E Revisited
I have E's and 2 G's I prefer the way the E frame feels in my hand but there is nothing wrong with the G. I wish they would offer a 50G though.

Ducks And Bass
Once a few years ago I was fishing off my dock and a few ducks came up so a threw a jig into them to scare them off. As soon as it hit the water 2 big bass jumped, one grabbed my jig, the other came up empty. To this day I still believe they were stalking those ducks to eat.

Float-N-Fly Jig Weights??
I use 1/16th oz Punisher jigs and a 1/2 oz bobber.

D T & D D How, When And Where?
Everything that 00Mod said but I would add try them right before and during the spawn too. Throw a DD 22 in 6-10 FOW on heavy line in the back of spawning pockets. They dig in hard and when they deflect they can go several feet sideways. I also like the suspending DD's too when the fish are hanging out right below the thermocline in deep water.

Crankbait Carolina Rig
I have used it for years and it produces under the right conditions. I use a 12-18" leader and always a square bill crankbait. I tried it with tight wobble baits but moving that slow they had no action at all.
-
Float-N-Fly Line?
I use 20 lb PP with 6lb fouro from the swivel to the fly. The braid casts better and it floats.

New Legend Xtreme Casting Question
The LE's weight are in the handles so they balance well with any reel IMO. I have a Core 50MG on my 6'10" and it is very balanced.

So What's The Deal With These Boats?
They are a scam. Most of the ones I've seen either have out of state hull ID's or none at all. Another tip off is they never have a phone number.

New Legend Xtreme Casting Question
Don't equate weight with sensitivity. I have 2 of the new Legend Extremes and they are heavier than most rods at that price point. I also have an NRX and IMO the LE's are just as sensitive. The new grips do take some getting used to but I like them now.

Is Weight Color Important?
IMO it can make a difference. I fish a lot of t-rigs and have many times changed from a colored weight to a silver or vice versa and start catching them. I generally match the bait in clear water and fish silver weights in stained.

Hi Point 9Mm
They aren't horrible but I wouldn't bet my life on one firing twice. As mentioned the stove piping issue is common. If you want a cheap, reliable home defense go with a revolver or shotgun.
-
Prop Change?
A hydrofoil stabilizer will get you out of the water faster but you're about maxed out of speed.
-
Over/under Shotgun Expense
I used to shoot competitive sporting clays and can tell you the difference between a pump or semi and a quality O/U is amazing. If you want a gun for occasional skeet/trap shooting look at the CZ's line of O/Us. IMO they make a great entry level O/U.

Florocarbon Carolina Rigs...
I use braid with a flouro leader tied with the uni to uni knot then use a Carolina Keeper to hold the weight and bead in place. I just use filler spools of either Seaguar Invisix or Berkley 100% for leaders because it's cheaper. Palomar knots work great for flouro as long as you tie it right. If the flouro crosses over it's self it will fail.

New Years And My Boat......
Oh man that really does stink. I replaced the cowl on a 2007 Pro XS I had and the cheapest I could find was $750 but that was several years ago. Mine was hit by another boater while on the water so thankfully he paid for it.
