I am also new to baitcasting and plan on going to BPS to get a reel this weekend. I had been looking at the rick clunn signature series. should I steer clear of it? It has some good reviews and is an 8 ball bearing reel but its on sale for 79.99. Anyone have one?

Yeah I had great year, I fished a lot of small ponds that dont see a lot of pressure too though I think that helped.
