  1. I have two Carrot Stixs. One 7'6" model for flipping and one 6'9" model (I think) for dropshotting. I love them both because both are extremely lightweight which you definitly need for flipping if you are going to do it all day and sensitive which you definitly need for dropshotting. You made the right choice in getting them. They will do you good.
  2. Reaction Innovations Flirt Tail worm in Okeechobee Craw color. http://www.***.com/Reaction_Innovations_Flirt_Worm/descpage-RIFW.html#multiview
  3. Yeah I wish I would have GameFlyed it too. Can't wait for Black Ops now.
  4. I have to say this game kinda let me down a little bit. First off, for campaign mode, the graphics are not what they could be and the enemy AI is just weird because I can walk right by a dude and he will act like he never saw me and keep shooting my teammates and this is on hard difficulty. I am about 1/4 through the campaign right now and there is nothing that just amazes me about this game yet, its just kinda boring. I hope it improves real soon. Now for multiplayer. In short I don't like it. You do not get to create your own class so you are pretty much stuck using three classes and you are only able to change the gun and the attachments on those guns. You don't get to change equipment or anything like that. Another thing that I do not like is that there is no challenges to strive for like on Modern Warefare 2 so pretty much your only goal is getting kills and the UAV, motore (however you spell it) strike, and predator missle. I guess it is because I am so used to Modern Warefare 2 is because I do not like this game as much. Maybe I will change over time. Forgot to add this in: the maps on multiplayer are pretty nice, I will give them credit for that. Also Medal of Honor Frontline that comes with PS3 gamers is pretty sweet. It brings back a lot of fond memories ;D. What do you guys think about it so far?

For a Texas rig I usually always go to a 10" Berkley Powerbait twist-tail worm in plum color. It has caught many fish for me.
  7. The Medal of Honor campaign trailers look pretty freakin' amazing. Not sure how the multiplayer is going to be.
  8. I *** your skills lol. In completely honesty now do you camp any?
  9. IMO, a dropshot is effective no matter what season. I have caught pretty good numbers of fish in all seasons with it. Theres something about that suspending small bait that bass can't resist.
  10. You are right, those are amazing cranks. How deep is the water that is around all this standing timber?
  11. IMO, windy days are best for spinnerbaits whether its cloudy or sunny. I think the biggest reason you are not getting bit is because you are fishing in the wrong spot. Try moving around often if you are not getting bit.
  12. WoW!!!! That looks insanley good. I might have to try it sometime.
  13. I agree with this word for word.

There is really nothing different about them. Most companies model their straight tail worms after the trickworm. To fish them wacky you just take a hook (I perfer a 3/0 circle hook) and put it through the middle of the worm and just throw it out and let it sink and pull up and repeat. The worm has a lot of action on the fall without you having to do anything. Yeah they are a little thin, but not to thin to Texas-rig. I have caught many fish on them Texas-rig.
  15. That would be the most ideal thing to do, but that cost money and the U.S. doesn't spend money on necessary things. :
  16. Ha ha I guess it is kinda of confusing. I have never seen a live one, unfortunately I have only seen the dead variety.
  17. Me and my family saw this while we were surf fishing for Redfish on Portsmouth Island, NC. I had no idea what it was until I got right up on top of it because most of it was buried in sand. We saw a few more of them, but this was the biggest. We asked the ranger why there was so many of them dead and she said that there was a real bad cold snap back in March and it lowered the water temp. so much that it killed them.
  18. Me and my family headed out to Portsmouth Island for a week back in early August (I know its a little late to be posting this but I just got around to it) to do some surf fishing. We ended up catching a few big Redfish and some small Flounder that were not worthy of a picture. Both the Flounder and Redfish were caught on Carolina rigs with either dead Mullet minnows or live ones.
  19. Dang I forgot about those lakes lol. I was thinking about the ones near me like Harris, Jordan, and Falls.
  20. Most people use finesse worms for a shakey head, but you can use any soft plastic.
  21. Drop shot!!! With 6 lb. FLOUROCARBON and a Roboworm in Aaron's Magic color.
  22. I have lived in NC my whole life and the we have great bass fishing around here. I don't think any lakes are nationally known, but they are still great. As for the job you could look into NC Wildlife Commission website. Are you interested working marine like saltwater fish?
  23. HAHA. That was a good one, never heard of it before. ;D
  24. Yeah that is great price. They are usually $89.00. I have had mine awhile now and even though I haven't caught any fish on it yet it seems like a good rod because it is very lightweight and very sensitive. I would get it.
  25. I picked up the Carrot Stix when it was on sale at TW for $89.00 and I like it very much. It is very sensitive and lightweight. I don't know if it is still on sale for that price, but if it is you should get it, that is a great rod for a great price.
