  3. Charlie brewer sliders are number 1 on my list ive caught tons of crappie from ga to ohio. I was fishing leesville lake in ohio with them and i was catching 5 to 1 over live minnows.google charlie brewer company and you can get great deals on them. I got 100 sliders and 25 1/16oz heads for 26.00 you can get 1000 for 65bucks.I use black with chartruese tail!
  4. If you ar looking to catch a good stringer full of crappie check out charlie brewer sliders they work wonders in the lakes that i use them in. We recently within the last year bought a farm with a nice 70 acre lake and the first 2 crappie we caught out of it were 18.5 inches long. they went from my elbow to the tip of my middle finger.I shoulld have had them checked for state record but didnt think about it at the time!! Havent caught any that big since but most range between 10-14
  5. i have good luck around sunken tree's and moving water last year in august (south ga 100 degrees) i was fishing off a spill way and caught 115 large crappie in an hour. This is in a private pond also.
  6. I was fishing the sesquehanna river last year at the sunbury dam and caught a smallmouth head(either that or i set the hook too hard ) I have a 70 acre pond at our proporty and i threw a spook out by the dam and had a nice 4lb bass on when all of a sudden a 7foot gator grabs the back end of the bass, fought it for about 10 mins then finally when i got it close to shore it let go and again all i had was a fish head!
  7. I was just at richardsons fish camp this last week, the accomodations arent the greatest but you are right on the water and everyone is nice. If you are going on a guide ask for captain bill whipple. We caught 18 nice bass along with a 10lber and an 8 lbder
