  1. I am by no means an expert on Depth finders. I can say I have the exact problem with my 2 units. Pretty much like you I have 2 different brands, front unit is mounted on the trolling motor, and the rear is on the outside of the transom. Front unit will show fish, the rear one will show nothing. I have adjusted the sensitivity, and have set them about the same, with pretty much the same results. Front unit is about 3 years old, rear unit is brand new. Both have different names, but I'm pretty sure they are made by the same company. I am starting to believe the old saying, "Saturday Morning Cartoons"
  2. Thanks Jeff, seems I was given some bad info by the salesman, go figure. Thanks for the correction.
  3. I had a keelguard on my inboard tracker, and it came loose. Not because of the product, but because I installed it over the strip of aluminum they used for a keel. The keel was too big, and the product failed. Now if you were installing on a glass boat, or a smooth bottom boat, I think it would be fine. If you decide to purchase, I have a brand new 7' in grey, that I would be willing to let go cheaper then new. Good luck with either way you go.

I don't rack. One is always in the chamber.

Shotgun, 18" barrel, with home defense loads. Very low recoil, easy for ANYONE to shoot.
