  1. Hmmm. What kind of ink did you use to print the photo? HaHa!
  2. Great video! Very nice. What kind of hooks do you prefer for drop shot?
  3. Can you imagine the run on Zebcos if he did fish a tournament with one? HeHe! "Sorry sir we're all out of 33's". ;D
  4. That makes sense. Looks like I'm going to have to eventually bite the bullet and get two more rods.......and a sponsor or two, haha! Jason ;D
  5. I have to agree with the Senko......gotta go with Senkos. 8-)
  6. Thanks for the good info guys. I'm looking at the Shimano Compre or possibly something from the St. Croix line. I can't really spend over $120.00 or so on the rod. I've got a medium compre spinning and trigger rod, both with fast actions and like those a lot. I just need one more trigger rod for now with some backbone to it. The Mediums tend to load way too much when using deep diving crankbaits or heavier spinnerbaits. I'd like to try and throw some heavier jigs/carolina rigs as well. One more question if someone has time to answer. As far as using a moderate action rod, is that a personal preference when throwing crankbaits? I've heard that it gives a bit more to allow the fish to inhale the lure. Can you still have just as much success with a fast or extra fast action when using crankbaits? Thanks again, Jason
  7. Just a quick question to you rod Guru's out there. What kind of fishing would you do with a MH rod with a fast or extra fast action? I'm in the market for a new one and need a good, general purpose rod for throwing jigs, 3/8oz. + spinnerbaits, maybe even a carolina rig or swimbait. Would this fit the bill? Thanks, Jason
  8. I agree, Senko.......black or green pumpkin/watermelon.
  9. I cut the other end of a polamar knot too close to the knot and I'm assuming the knot came undone as I set the hook on one last year. Ugh.
  10. Done. Very interesting survey indeed! -Jason
  11. Thanks for the warm welcome guys! This place is a bass geeks heaven! So much good info! Thanks for the offer Btech, I'll have to take you up on that sometime this summer! Jason
  12. Hi! Just wanted to introduce myself. I've lived in NC all my life and got hooked (pun?) on Bass fishing last year. I mostly fish High Rock and Belews but hope to get out and meet some of you guys on some different water this year. Anyway, just wanted to say hello and how great the site is! Jason
