Hey I just put a new 788ci HD DI combo on my boat when I get to about 8mph I am loosing signal on fish finder, transducer is mounted on transom this place work find with old hummimbird up to about 25mph what give I have move transducer to inside the hull hoping this will help is DI that sennesitive but I loose water depth to, give me some input

The way I understand the regulation is anything with a motor electric or gas need nag . light to be safe that would be the best thing to do

got a 18' skeeter that had the same problem , skeeter are weight sensity had to put a hydro foil on to get it not to porpoise made a big difference you may be power trim up to much when it start power trim down a little
