  1. Yep! All green sunfish have a mouth about twice the size of a similar sized bluegill. They're fun to catch i agree, they also have a weird texture to their flesh. It's sort of rubbery squishy like, nothing else like it.
  2. BTW. I've found swimming jigs in and around docks to be extremely effective if the fish are very shallow, as in 2 feet or less.
  3. Respect for property owners has never been a problem for me and who i fish with. I've never left anything behind on someone else's boat/dock or w/e for that matter. I know fishing docks can be a sensitive issue with people so i do it as respectfully as i can. This is getting away from the topic of the thread though. :-?
  4. Wondering if any of you guys like pitching/skipping jigs underdocks and pontoons. If so what colors you like. I've been having a lot of luck skipping jigs with my pitchin rod under and around pontoons lately. I go for a fish imitation more so than a craw. Bluegill colors are my favorite for this but you still cant beat a black and blue. 8-) oh yeah i live in wisconsin by the twin cities sorta... just on the better side of the river
  5. Hey man, I live in the area. I do most of my fishing in Polk county since i live right by St. Croix county. What lakes do you fish mostly?
